“Former military cop Jack Reacher has arrived at the headquarters fo the 110th MP, his old unit near Washington, D. C., the closest thing to a home he’s ever had. He’s there to meet – in person – the new commanding officer, Major Susan Turner, so far just a warm, intriguing voice on the phone. But Turner isn’t there and Reacher is shocked to be charged with a crime serious consequences.

When threatened, you can run of fight.

Reacher fights, aiming to find Turner and clear his name, barely a step ahead of the army, and the FBI, and the D. C. Metro police, and four unidentified thugs. It is a race for the truth that will make Reacher question who he is, what he’s done, and the very future of his untethered life on the open road."

I saw this book on the shelf in a second hand bookstore. I picked it up, paid for it, and put it on my shelf at home. And so it’s a book on the to-read list. That’s it. I am not a fan of Jack Reacher. I told myself when I finished a book of the series, don’t remember which now, that I will not read any Jack Reacher’s book. But since it has been on my shelf for some time, I decided I’d better finish it.

To me, Jack Reacher is really boring. His life style is boring. His going from place to place on foot or by bus is boring. The repetition of his fifty-fifty theory is completely boring. His reason to meet Susan Turner sucks.

However, I finished it. Didn’t like it.
